Gautier Porot has a wealth of 17 years of security experience. Most recently, he was the main organiser and general coordinator during the visit of Pope Francis to Geneva. Previously, he was Senior Consultant providing strategic risk management advisory services and event support for Corporate entities and High Net Worth individuals in high-risk locations. He also held positions as Head of Security for both the Federal Palace in Bern and the State of Geneva directly advising the Council of Ministers.
He served as an Army Instructor and Company Commander in the Swiss armed Forces for 6 years and has specialised in Urban warfare tactics. His first work experience was as Swiss Guard in the Vatican. He has successfully completed an EMBA at IMD Business School and a Master's in Criminology at ASSAS; he ranks as a Major in the active reserve of the Armed Forces Swiss Armed Forces.
