Guideline for the Preparation of the Risk Assessment - Germany

Ribbon

For employees on business trips abroad and employees who have left the country, accompanying relatives and subcontractors, special risks arise from specific health and safety risks for health and safety. On the employer side, there are special obligations. In particular, the employer's duty of care arising from the employment relationship in particular obliges companies to fulfil their responsibility to protect their mobile employees from risks and threats. The document fills a gap, as up to the publication date in 2019 no risk assessment guide had been published with respect to business trips and assignments so far.

Published by the International SOS Foundation. The guide provides an overview on how companies can implement a Risk Assessment procedure for business travels and international assignments, in order to protect their mobile workforce.
