Overview

This ISO 31030 training course is designed for individuals responsible for, or part of, their organization’s travel risk management (TRM) team, providing the competencies necessary to develop or enhance their TRM arrangements in line with ISO 31030:2021.

Delivered virtually over seven hours across two days, the course equips participants with practical tools and guidance to understand and manage the key risks associated with organizational travel, including security, safety, health, and business continuity.

The course begins with a comprehensive review of ISO 31030, focusing on the core areas most impacting organizational travel – risk identification, prevention and mitigation, monitoring dynamic risks, and evaluating the effectiveness of TRM policies and programs. Through case studies, exercises, and practical examples, participants will learn how to integrate these elements into their organization’s unique risk profile, culture, and policies.

By attending the course, delegates will be prepared to lead their travel risk management response, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure their TRM program is effective and aligned with ISO 31030 guidance.
