Ramsey Zarifeh

Ramsey is the General Manager, Content Services, at International SOS, where he leads the organisation’s global content strategy and oversees the delivery of timely, accurate and actionable information to support clients operating across diverse and complex environments. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience leading global news networks across Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, he brings editorial expertise and a strong track record of building and managing high-performing international teams.

Prior to joining International SOS in 2021, Ramsey served as Director of Newsgathering at CGTN Europe from 2018 to 2021, where he oversaw editorial operations and field reporting across the region. Before that, he spent over a decade at Al Jazeera Media Network as Head of Global Newsgathering (2006–2018), directing worldwide coverage and managing the channel’s bureaus and correspondents. Earlier in his career, he was Deputy Head of the English Service at the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (2001–2006), helping to shape international news output during a period of significant global change.
