Oliver Wild

Chief Risk and Insurance Officer, Veolia

Oliver Wild has served as Chief Risk and Insurance Officer at Veolia since 2013.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from ESIAE (Paris) and a Master's degree in Sustainable Development from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

Oliver began his career at KPMG Risk Advisory Services in Sydney, where he spent eight years in consulting and auditing, specializing in sustainability. In 2009, he joined Veolia in Paris as the Group’s Deputy Chief Audit Officer, overseeing global activities. From 2014 to 2020, he also coordinated Veolia's internal control function.

He currently holds Board positions in captives and a established cyber insurance mutual.

A member of the French risk management and insurance professional association (AMRAE) since 2013 and a Board member since 2016, Oliver served as president from 2020 to 2025 and is now Vice President of the association's Scientific department. 

He was also appointed to the board of the French Federation of Captives in 2023.
