Arunabh Mitra is the Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management at HCLTech, a $12 billion global information technology firm with 240,000 employees and operations in over 60 countries. In addition to other domains, he is responsible for the risk programmes related to ESG and Mergers and Acquisitions at HCL. As Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management, he is responsible for designing and deploying a 'future-ready' Crisis & Resilience framework in accordance with industry best practises to appropriately respond to the evolving risk landscape, while actively collaborating with HCL's Fortune 1000 clients, diverse external stakeholders, and industry bodies.
Arunabh's mission is to make the planet more resilient. He is an industry speaker who focuses on delivering dynamic and interactive sessions at global events. He collaborates extensively with individuals and industry partners to amplify the dialogue on resilience. He is the founding Chair of the India Future Practise Group, a Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Think Tank dedicated to horizon scanning and decoding the future of Business Continuity, as well as a member of the RIMS Regional Advisory Group for South Asia. Arunabh is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Resilience at the Graduate School of Media and Governance of Keio University, Tokyo.
